Outperforming turnout
15th November setted up a new milestone for the Cosmos ecosystem, as Made in Block hosted the very first Cosmos Meetup in Italy.
Headquartered in Milan, the event received people from all over Italy with a turnout outperforming the expectations. Some of them came from Germany and Switzerland, proving how such event was awaited.
The italian crypto-regulation landscape
“We’re impressed by the effort you put into making business in Italy, facing all the bureaucracy & regulation attached”
For many participants this represented the first opportunity to match virtual knowledge & concepts with feedbacks from people working in the crypto-industry. They had the chance to understand all the major adversities an innovative start-up in this sector has to face with italian bureaucracy, compared to other foreign-countries regulations.
For newcomers & crypto-curious
“I am new to crypto and I am profoundly surprised by how many concepts underlie Cosmos ecosystem. Cannot wait for Made in Block - Education”
As the first of many Meetups, the Made in Block team gave space for introductory overviews over the blockchain technology & network consensus, matching the necessities of whoever is recently approaching this space and is still trying to fill basic knowledge gaps over these topics, deepening the details of PoW & PoS networks and of block creation.
With the focus on Cosmos Interchain Hub main strenghts, highlighting interoperability & programmability, speakers captured the attention of tech people working on old Web2 architectures. They manifested enthusiasm over our future education product for developers: the Made in Block - Education.
Networking: BUIDLING up new connections
“As italians, we’re glad of finally having a place to compare ourselves with other realities like Made in Block”.
The singularity of such an event in Italy, brought to Milan many italian Cosmos devs & contributors happy to find a place for sharing their knowledge without the need to travel abroad.
In terms of networking, it represented an opportunity for getting to know emerging projects, strengthening connections between different realities, exchanging different points of view over the ecosystem’s future and for building up new partnerships.
MiB’s team is thankful for the community feedback,
stay tuned for the upcoming Meetups!
